Xbox One Bundle Comparison
There are now several Xbox One bundles to choose from over the holidays, and this Assassin's Creed bundle is one of the better options in my opinion. But just in case another one will be a better match for you, here is a comparison with holiday price drops:
Xbox One, no Kinect: $349
- Barebones, nothing extra, not a great deal, don't get this one.
Xbox One with Kinect: $449
- Same as above, but includes Kinect. No other bonuses, don't get this bundle.
Xbox One Assassin's Creed Bundle, no Kinect: $349
- This includes both Assassin's Creed black flag (digital version), which is playable immediately after download, and Assassin's Creed Unity, which you can pre-download, but it is not playable until release date, which is still 1-2 weeks away. As you can see, this is the same price as the barebones XBO, but includes 2 free games, making it a pretty sweet deal if you don't care about the Kinect.

Even Great Products Have Issues
This is a nice upgrade from the XBOX 360, and for the price, I'm not sure how you can beat it. Some pros and cons below, and most of the cons are things that can be easily remedied, so get on it Microsoft!
PROS
+ Bundled Price: 500GB XBOX One with two games (AC: Black Flag, and AC: Unity) for $350.00. Difficult to argue with that deal. Only issue was the games were digital, not hard copies, which takes away some value for sure, as well as the fact they both take up a tremendous amount of space. Still a great deal.
+ Controller: I was a big fan of the XBOX 360 controller, and this one is an improvement on that, while still being familiar.
+Graphics: The graphics seem so much nicer and sleeker on the XBO as opposed to the XBOX 360.
CONS
- Storage Space: The XBOX One comes with 500GB, but it really doesn't. After the software that comes on it, plus all the updates, you're really down a good amount of storage space. With the industry...
I am trying so hard to like you Xbox One... But the Dashboard needs tons of work.
Being an avid gamer on the older (5-star!!!) Xbox 360 I put off getting an XBone until there were actually some "fun" games to play. Enter the Christmas Assassin's Creed bundle and an additional free game (Halo MCC Oh joy of joys!) for $329 and I was sold! When my Xbone finally arrived two weeks later I could hardly wait to set it up... Update? Check! Update again? Check! Install game? Check! Update game? Check! Play game? Oh heck yes! GAMEGASM ! ! ! Playing games is fun and the new controllers are quick and hella sensitive. As a game machine this puppy gets 5-Stars.
So why the 3-Star review? Well the rest of the system is a horrid, horrid mess.
(don't hate me for the below, as of today it is all still true)
The dash board and its "Metro" layout is absolute garbage. It is a pain to find anything and the constant blanking of the screen as it goes one level back and forth in this Metro garbage is nauseating. Speaking of nauseating, the dashboard is...
