Good but was expecting better.
This is for the 360 version, just so we're clear. While the game is still fun to play and much larger than Forza Horizon, it isn't nearly as good as it could have been. The graphics are only as good as FH1. There's no improvement there. The rest of the game, in general, seems rushed with not much effort put into it. I've noticed a lot of little quirky bugs. Trees that slightly float above ground. "Parked" cars that have a single wheel spinning slowly. I was driving through a place I had never been yet and came across some parked cars and one of them was inexplicably on it's side. Not sure if this was intentional or just another bug. If you have no plans to buy an Xbox One and want to play this, go ahead and get it. It's still fun to play and there is lots and lots of things to do. If you at some point are upgrading to an Xbox One, don't waste your money on this. Get the One version when you get your new machine. They didn't seem to put much effort into the 360 version.
A great game, for the Xbox one.
I was a huge fan of Forza 4 and Forza horizon 2. I have dozens of hours just free roaming on horizon 1. So I was obvioulsy excited wgame's found out horizon 2 would be coming to the 360 i knew it would be different from the Xbox one version because of the generation gap, but not as much as it is. I have played the Xbox One version of the game both at a Microsoft Booth and my friends house. That is a good game. The 360 version of the game is trash. There are too many things to name. Textures don't match up with the terrain almost everywhere, so your car is either floating or sinking into the ground. All the cars are from previous games or DLC of previous games, with the exception of the huracan and a couple others. The AI cars in free roam are complete idiots. If you are sitting on the side of the road, they will change their course and hit you like a heat seeking missile. There are 2D trees that look like they came straight from the N64 that are floating. You can drive through them...
Severely dumbed down port of and Xbox One game.
Game is very buggy, plus they mislead consumers about DLC and features in the 360 version. There will be no DLC, no rewards for leveling up, no true online free roam. If you want the real game you have to have the Xbox One. This is a dumbed down cash grab which pains me to say. The first Horizon was one of my favorite games of all time. I own ever other Forza game made, but after this I may be done with the series. Such a disappointment.
