Cheapest Live Subsription Option

From what I can find this is the cheapest cost per month option available for a live gold subscription. Depending on the current price, it ranges from $2.9158 to $3.3325 per month. What I don't get is why this credit card sized subscription card comes in such wasteful packaging. It comes in a rather large plastic packaging, which requires it to be shipped in a box. You get free shipping, but how wasteful. Why doesn't amazon just offer the code online and not eat the cost of shipping and at the same time be a little greener?

The cards had expired by the time the card holder tried to active it

I got the news from the person who received the card for aChristmas gift, that the card had expired. The could not active the card. I would like a refund.

Nintendo 3DS XL Super Mario Bros. 2 Gold Edition Bundle

Great system and included game
I got this for my 6 year old son. The red color and Mario (and Luigi on the back) look nice. The included game (Super Mario Bros 2) reminds me of old school SM from the original Nintendo days, but is not the same. Being able to play on the 3D screen and see other information about the games on the bottom screen is helpful.

I recommend getting a screen protector for this right away, especially for the lower screen where selections need to be made. There is a stylus included, but kids (and even adults) end up touching the screen to make selections.

I also recommend getting a case to hold the system as well as games. Those little cartridges are easy to lose!

Charging time is very quick -- 3.5 hours from completely dead to fully charged if the unit is off. You can, however, have the unit on and play while it is charging (it will take more time, naturally).

The front and back cameras are also decent. Not super high quality photos, but...

A Pretty Cool New Gaming System!!

I got this 3DS for my birthday, and I really loved it. I like the color and how you can use headphones so the sound goes directly into your ear. I liked the backround that had all the items and boxes and the pipes. The game, New Super Mario Brother 2 Gold Edition was the perfect one to come with it. I liked how you can go onto the Nintendo eShop and buy things instead of going to the store and buying the games that could get damaged or lost. I also liked how you can use the bottom screen as a touch screen. The charger is very long and they can have Nintendo3DS cases. The 3DS XL comes with a SDHC Card with 4 gigabytes of storage. there is a lotof free things you can get such as Netflix YouTube and Nintendo Video. You can play games without the Game Cartridge and watch movies. The battery lasts a very long time. Charges in about 4 HRS.

Cool design!

Love the design...Walmart had this bundle on sale this year and I'm glad. Not that the outside matters in function but it looks nice and made it feel as though it was just a little bit better of a deal. The game is pre-installed, even better, and it has downloadables as well. I think this replacement (to accidental broken blue original) will be greatly appreciated.

Xbox Live 24 Month Gold Membership [Online Game Code]

Better than buying one in a retail store.

I decided to purchase one of these when my current subscription expired. It took a matter of minutes, and I was logged back on to my Live account. It was also about $10-12 cheaper than it would've been if I went to my local big box store (not to mention gas and time). Here are the steps that I took:

1. Purchased it on Amazon.com
2. Checked my e-mail to retrieve my Xbox Live Code immediately after purchase.
3. Logged onto my account on xbox.com, and put the Xbox Live Code in. (Or enter the code on the Xbox 360 dashboard.)
4. Turned on my 360 and viola! Instantaneous access.

I plan on purchasing this again when my current subscription is up. It's a total no brainer.

Prepaid Is Better
To start off, I'd like to say that X-Box Live is amazing and worth every penny. Online gaming is incredibly fun and quite a good way to pass time.

That aside, there are downsides to X-Box Live that can be avoided through prepaid cards. Number one, you always run the risk that unwarranted transactions will be made if your credit card information is stored on your X-Box 360 system. It may not happen all that often, but it's best to avoid it all together.

The biggest reason to buy prepaid Xbox Live card is the renewal process that happens when you don't use one. If you order X-Box Live through your system, it'll renew every time your subscription runs out. This wouldn't be a problem except that it's not that easy to cancel. Instead of canceling through your system, you have to go through the hassle of actually calling X-Box Live support. Even then, depending on the representative you get, you may be hassled to keep your subscription because they really don't want...

Kid needed and I got it!

My kid needed this to go on line and kill zombies. Who am I to stop my kid from saving the world.

Xbox LIVE 12 Month Gold Starter Kit

Great Value but Not for Everyone...
Allow me to preface this with an apology for the length of this review. This bundle made up of four individual items, and as a result I wrote about them all. If you already know what all the individual items are and just want to know if this bundle is a good value then the simple answer is yes.

While I would like to give this Item a five star rating (for myself, it is a solid 4.5 stars) at best I can give it is a 3 for reasons stated in the descriptions of the items.

This bundle of item is only as useful as you make it. For myself, It is a great value but for you it may not be. It really depends on your online play style and what you do with it.

As an online gamer I enjoy talking to other players, and I am fairly active on my messaging. Not only that, but I do play online quite regularly, I buy games online, as well as additional...

Simply Simple!

Everything is plug and play, in every sense of the phrase.
-Points, simply enter the code written on the piece of paper, done!
-Xbox live membership, see prior
-Add your chat pad, just plug it into your controller, done!
-Headset, just plug it into your chat pad or controller, done!

I love the chat pad, it even has a backlit keyboard. No going letter by letter any more. The headset works perfectly, it is not a heavy gaming headset, just a speaker and a mic boom, but all you need. It is nice that it has an on/off switch through. Best of all, I bought this just for the xbox live membership, so the other 3 items were basically free, but all of good quality and things I would have needed to get anyway.

Awesome Bundle

This bundle was awesome! I received 400 microsoft points, which I gave to my son & the keypad is so much easier than trying to use the controler. I love the headset, & for the price of the 12 months with all the extras, you can't beat that with a baseball bat!
