I should give this one star since I haven't seen my boyfriend since Christmas, but I can't say I have enjoyed the time alone, I don't have to share the remote, I only need to cook for one :) meanwhile he doesn't leave the "man cave" often, he LOVES the Playstation and this game, it was well worth the $ to make him this happy..and get this much free time Lol

Decent bundle, but better are out there

Let's just start with this: it is completely your opinion whether Xbox one or PS4 are better. There are ups and downs for both, but the main reason you buy one or another is what your friends get. This is why I don't get on xbox ones people's case, and I hope they don't get on mine.
After saying that, I'll talk about the bundle. There isn't really anything special about the bundle. You save like 10$, but even that is not true. You can buy a ps4 for 400 and the game new for 42, so it's cheaper to go that way. That said, if you are a person who likes bundles, there is a Black Friday bundle which includes: A BLACK 500GB PS4, GTA V, and THE LAST OF US. You can get this for only 400$. My recommendation is to go for that, and if you don't like gta v you can just sell it.

I recommend buying the separately + why you might want a PS4 over Xbox one.
*** at the time of writing this review this bundle was $443 I would recommend buying the console and game separately as you can find The Last of Us for PS4 for about $20-$25 now.

As a longtime PlayStation owner I was going to go with the PlayStation 4 over the Xbox One just because all my friends/family are PlayStation gamers.But if you're somebody was looking to get into the new generation of consoles is a few reasons why like PlayStation over the Xbox.

Reason one: the ability to swap out the hard drive and add 2+ terabytes of storage. The PlayStation makes it very easy to upgrade your hard drive and add more space. With most AAA titles measuring in between 40-50 GB your 500 gig hard drive gets filled up rather quickly. But you can easily upgrade the hard drive in less than 30 minutes something Xbox does not allow you to do.

Xbox 360 500GB Special Edition Blue Console Bundle with Call of Duty Ghosts and Call of Duty Black Ops 2

Not nearly as cool as the picture.
It's an XBox 360 with 500GB HD. I got this because it looks pretty cool in the picture.
In real life, it's dark blue on the middle, but light sea-foam blue on the sides.
The Controller matches this color style: Dark Blue on the top half, and light, powdery blue on the bottom.
Not cool looking by any means.
Also, the ON/OFF button is different then the SLIM. The SLIM had an ultra sensitive power button. You get your hand anywhere near it, and BLOOP.
This one, is much better/worse (you decide). You have to put some pressure on the Button to get it to react.
Power cable is also different then the SLIM. It has a single tube, instead of the double, that the SLIM has.
The Vents on the top and sides are smaller then the SLIM. This may let in less dust, but I'm guessing it lets in less air as well.
It's still an XBox, and nothing inside has changed enough to notice, but the Lt Blue sides on this, stand out.

Not like other 360 consoles

The colors are not metallic. I thought they would be from the pictures, The fan is VERY loud! It sounds like an older console it is so loud. Black Ops 2 the code did not work. unlike the 360 we had before the buttons aren't touch sensitive, but need to be pushed. It has frozen mid game on me a couple times.

Great item! But kind of disappointed .

I like the console, the only thing is you need a tv that allows a high definition mi connector to be connected to it, this cannot be used on a tv without it.

Great deal ! Massive Storage and 2 great games. Upgraded from my 6 year old Elite model and its much more responsive and quieter

Excellent bundle and fun COD game

I had initially purchased the 4gb system, but after reading reviews and the need to add hard drive memory (which can add up to $100 to the price tag), it made more sense to get this bundle. The new slick design is aesthetically pleasing. It runs very smoothly and quickly. I've only played COD black ops II so far. It's a great game with very good graphics. The zombie campaign is a lot of fun. I am a PS3 owner for the last 4 years and wish I had added the 360 to my collection earlier. I highly recommend the Xbox 360, especially this bundle.

Good value bundle

Really like this package combination. Very good system with sufficient hard drive. The games are also pretty cool however I would prefer to get two discs rather than just one and the other as a downloadable token (8GB). Got to have good bandwith... Otherwise very good. Would recommend to anyone.

Perfect

Got it on time, packaged carefully and it is great. Came with everything listed. Took about 20 min to hook it up including unpacking. The best thing I thought was that it came updated. My oldest son has one and when e got his it needed a system update soon as it was un-boxed which was weird because he pre-ordered it when they first came out. But anyway this is a great product and well worth it.

Very good replacement to YLOD PS3

Awesome PS3. My previous PS3 died of the YLOD syndrom (Yellow Light Of Death, look it up) and I couldn't carry over my game saves because their encrypt the data to a unique PS3... But this new PS3 works great and is a FANTASTIC value today for gaming, Blue-Ray and multimedia Full HD system. It plays Netflix and Amazon Prime and more also. I wish the disk compartment cover was a little sturdier and the fan was silent, but the value is there with 500GB and a Dual Shock remote with vibration. For me, this is better than a PS4 that doesn't read any of my PS3 games, why would I buy that?

This was a great deal for the price.

The game...nice addition but the PS3 gives you what you need at a reasonable price. So far no issues at all.

PS3 500GB The Last of Us Bundle

Excellent system and amazing game bundle to boot.
Well if you are looking at this review you know that this is the last gen gaming system from Sony, and right now is a great time to own one as the library of games is huge. You start your collection with one of the best games released in a very long time. The Last of Us is a single player and multiplayer game. However, most of the focus for this game is the incredible single player found within. The story, characters, and environments are amazing the game play is intense, and it comes with the system to begin. There are a few DLC releases for it, and Left Behind is a single player prologue to The Last of Us, but the actual game should be played first as it contains some major spoilers.

The system it self is the 3 major refresh of the hardware it comes with a top loading disk drive, 500gb HDD, and a single controller. Whats really odd that even to this day they do not include a HDMI cable it is silly; however, one can't really complain about it as we all have some somewhere...

Compact size

This PS3 is significantly smaller than the original PS3. I purchased this a few days ago for my handicapped brother-in-law. It allows him to have interaction with others through the internet portion where he can speak to people during the game, without having any issues of being judged for having a physical handicapped. He really enjoys the games and his last game console died after 4 years of constant use, so we decided to get him another one. It came with a game that he said is "awesome" and he's stopped obsessing over his broken console. That by itself was enough reason to spend $300 on something.

It's a playstation.
I wanted to play GTA V and it does that well enough. Last of Us seems like a good game. They always advertise the ps3 standing up but you have to open the top cover to load the disk, so laying it flat is the best way to go. If you ever used a Nintendo or a Genesis or a Xbox or a Playstation 2, it's pretty much the same thing as far as how you store the thing. It comes with one wireless controller. It doesn't come with an HDMI cable. You can surf the web if you're connected to the internet, but it's a chore to type anything into a search engine using the controller. You can transfer music, photos and video files to the hard drive using a flash drive. Downloading anything from the Playstation store is really slow if you connect to the internet using the wifi. Looks like ethernet cable is the way to go. The ps3 has a huge library of games and most of them are cheap somewhere online. Most games on Amazon are between 15 and 20 bucks. Good value bundle
