Sony is Approaching the Perfect Smartphone
Since the "best smartphone" is in many ways a matter of personal requirements and preferences, let me briefly describe my own so you can see where I'm coming from. First, I'm one of those rare guys who doesn't have a real side in the Apple/Google smartphone battle. I've happily used Apple devices for a long while, until I got bored of iOS and started my long, expensive, and chronically/unreasonably dissatisfied quest for smartphone perfection.
The things I care about in a smartphone are 1) Clean user interface software and design, 2) Clean, solid, premium hardware, 3) Excellent still photography (with good video being a plus), 4) A bright and vivid screen, 5) Battery life. Speed is important, but the specs of almost any flagship will more than do the trick these days, so those are secondary considerations. The things I specifically do NOT care about are the kinds of gimmicky-if-cool sensors and capabilities that make for great ads but never are used in real life. I'd rather...
Excellent phone! I bought D6633 by the way...
I just received my Z3 and this is just what i needed. I am upgrading from a Galaxy S4. I wanted something bigger than S4 so I was waiting for the Iphone 6 plus but it ended up being too big for me. Luckily I heard sony was coming out with a new phone and so I waiting a couple weeks. The Z3 is not picked up by my cell carrier so I had to look hard to see if the one I was getting was going to pick up LTE service. Most phones you get will get you 4G but there are specific bands for LTE. I did some research and saw that D6633 had most bands available with exception of band 13 which is a Verizon band only it seems. So I pulled the trigger crossed my fingers took my phone to ATT to get a nano sim for my new phone and I do get LTE!
D6633 is a dual nano sim phone as well so that is pretty sweet.
Highly recommend this phone guys. I wont get into the technical details but much much much better than Galaxy s4 because it doesn't come with all the bloatware and better camera...
Do NOT Buy From Seller Saletagz........USED Device! Doesn't Work on AT&T LTE!
On this posting it says will connect to LTE band 700 which is AT&T. This phone did NOT connect to AT&T LTE at all! Also another thing that really bothered me was the fact that the phone I received was used! The "new" protective wrapping was reapplied, it had apps installed on it that were not factory installed apps, and The phone had already been set up aside from it being set up to a Google account. When I buy things from Amazon I expect the item to be new unless it is stated that it is used. If I wanted a used device I would have bought from Ebay for a lower price. This device is going back tomorrow!
