Sony Computer Entertainment PSP Console Bundle (Cars 2, Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters, Ape Escape: On the Loose)

PSP review
Hey there, this is my personal view on the psp.

Over the years it's starting to get baggae, but I for one loved the psp, with official games and a few homebrew apps (homebrew are free and to hack using pro-cfw 6.60 is completely safe tested on my 1000 & 3000 models along with my layer psp go) I loved the moster hunter series, the psp is first and foremost my most memorable handheld.

Surf the web, listen to music, play games, watch movies, all the cfw hacks and plug ins (which are legal) make it a little better, but if you don't want cfw (custom firmware, not permanent, you turn it on and off) that's alright, psn has a vast collection of psone classics psp games and minis to play. Chock full of fun.

You can even download movies from the web for free, it has 3 web windows.

Eh, I'll break it up a little

GAMES/
Games I the psp are great, people say its lame because of only 1 stick, pft so what, it's got basic controls of games...

Great system but no memory card
I love this version of the PSP. My old one was the first model to ever come out and it's like a tank compared to this one. It's slim, lightweight, and the screen is just beautiful. The only problem I had with it was that there was no memory card contained in the packaging, which is a problem because you can't really play a game on your system with out one. It's also nice to recieve a game with your console. I only liked Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters but I've no doubt others will enjoy the other two accompanying games.

Definitely worth the money.

For an older system it still has uses
I bought this system as a replacement for my older fat model, which still works but I can't connect it to the TV with a Component cable. Also the battery on the old fat doesn't hold much of a charge.

I'll start with the games, the 3 pack-in games probably aren't going to sell you on the system but I don't mind adding them to my collection. Cars 2 is a mediocre movie tie-in game. Ratchet and Clank is a decent platformer, it suffers a bit in the control department from lack of dual analog and no extra shoulder triggers, but it makes the most of what it has and is a decent game for it. Finally, Ape Escape is a port of the original PS1 game, but they had to change it for lack of a second analog stick. The rework is hit or miss depending on the player, it's actually easier to control because each item is assigned to a button, but this loses a bit of the fun from the original. They also added new mini-games and a few extras, so it's probably the best of the bunch.
