2DS > 3DS
I wasn't that sure weather or not I should buy the 2DS or the 3DS but after reading reviews and watching videos on both, I figured the 2DS was best for me. Aside from its pretty ugly appearance and the lack of the 3D feature, the 2DS is exactly the same as the 3DS but for half its price. Although the shape of the 2DS seems awkward when holding, it really isn't and is actually quite comfortable in my opinion (I don't have small hands btw). Its also capable of playing normal DS and 3DS games so that was pretty awesome. If you're not a big fan of the 3D feature (which I read gives you a massive headache after playing for a while) I suggest buying this!
As far as the Yoshi game it comes with, I wasn't a huge fan of it. I find it rather repetitive but that might be because I'm more of a strategy game fan.

Good reviews were right.
Plays 3DS games no problem. Can purchase digital games like the 3DS just fine. Feels more comfortable in your hands compared to the 3DS. Same charger as the 3DS, bonus if you have both. My son will have a much harder time breaking the screen by snapping the hinge. :)
