Ridiculously-Amazing
(Purchased the Plush Edition which is why it's not showing as a Verified Purchase)
Sumo Digital has taken Media Molecule's masterpiece to a whole new level. Right from the start, you can see how much brilliance they've added to this game. The challenging campaign is simply off the charts this time around, with so much going on, in every delicious layer. Trust me when I say, if you're a fan of the series your jaw will be on the floor the entire time. The new, crazy weapons, inventory-style system and quest objective list really transforms this into an grand scale adventure. Forget just platforming, wait until you see how many RPGS the community comes up with this time! Not to mention, a whole new array of shooters, puzzle, pinball, sports, and other games which will exceed anything created with the previous version (and those were superb!).
Check out the campaign maps which will remind you of moving from level to level in a Mario World game. I also love the fact that...
I absolutely love this game
I absolutely love this game. They market it like it's a kids game but it really isnt. The game is far from easy. I grew up playing Mario 1 on Nintendo and having a side scrolled type game this good at 30 years old brings a smile to my face.
This game is way better looking then the first 2. The jumping doesn't feel as floaty and going up and down on a level is a lot smoother.
I bought the game digitally for numerous reasons.
1- the community is simply amazing.
2- online there are new levels all the time
3- the best level creators can do some amazing things, the community makes this game shine
There are always new levels to play online. What you get is worth the $59.99 you spend, more so then any other game I have played.
hope everyone has fun with this game for years to come, I know I will

Tons of fun but quite a few irritating bugs
My kids love the Little Big Planet series. When I surprised my daughters with this game today, their eyes lit up like it was Christmas a month early. The game installed with the usual first update upon launch. The update file is a little over 300MB. Graphics are decent and there are a ton of new effects and features, many of which was previously only available through DLC purchases in earlier games. For instance, environments like the rain effect are now standard, as are several other items and effects that previously came as DLC or add-ons. Speaking of which, you can import your LBP2 content, profiles and purchased DLC. More on that in a second. Regular gameplay is pretty cool and my kids love it. If you've played Little Big Planet, it's more of the same fun gameplay just with better graphics, more content, new characters and more things to do right off the bat. If you've never played, the best advice I can give you is to view a few online gameplay videos. It can give you an...
