Bayonetta 2 - Nintendo Wii U

A Wii U Owner Essential
I'll get straight to the point, this game is amazing. I have not been able to stop playing it since I got.

The game play is the best part of this game. It could take a couple minutes of getting used to at first but you will eventually become a pro. What I love is that there are many different weapons in the game so that you will definitely find something to fit your play style. This game is bigger and better than the first one and there are always amazing set pieces or huge monsters to fight. It really feels like a non stop roller coaster ride. This is a game that you feel compelled to replay over and over. Yes, Bayonetta is nice to look at, but it would all mean nothing if the game wasn't fun, thankfully its amazing.

The graphics are a big upgrade from the first one. The art direction and attention to detail is quite admirable. As far as the music goes... I'm not the type of person that listens to poppy music. That being said, the music in this game is amazing...

Fly Me to the Moon All Over Again
It was somewhere between riding a flaming unicorn through the underworld and surfing on a jet through hoards of angels and demons that something hit me. Throughout my entire playthrough of Platinum's much-anticipated "Bayonetta 2," there was not an instance in which I felt the game peaked. Most good modern games have a peak moment, a moment where everything works and the experience is a breathless, exhilarating thrill ride. Everything after that, nothing is quite the same. Yeah, the rest of the game is good and all, but it never reaches the crescendo that one moment managed to hit. It's unreasonable to expect that most games would be good throughout the entire thing, though. After all, barely anything can be entirely good, through-and-through, right?

That's what I thought, anyway. But Hideki Kamiya and company have proved that assumption wrong for the first time in many, many a year. There is no downward spiral in "Bayonetta 2," no definitive "this is it moment." That...

Beyond anything you can imagine - this is a masterpiece.
2014 has been an interesting year for games. So much hype and so much let down depending which game we are talking about.

One thing is certain however, Nintendo has been a constant living up to it's own hype by delivering some of the best games of 2014, and now with Bayonetta 2 it's delivered what could arguably be called GOTY up to this point.

To call this a masterpiece does not state enough just how grand this game is. It's beyond anything you can imagine and exceeds the first Bayonetta (which is included with this).

It clearly showcases the power of the Wii U proving that with the right developer the Wii U is a monster system capable of delivering graphics that are on point with "next gen"

Action baby!

Bayonetta 2 is not a button masher, if you're looking for a button masher you've purchased the wrong game. There's so many layers to the gameplay in Bayonetta. Mastering every combo is essential if...
