It came with a controler that does not work. It just wont start, I tried changing the batteries but it didnt work. I feel that is just not right. Everything else is fine, it kinda overheats thou and it came with minor scratches. I wonder if getting if getting a PS3 instead wouldnt have been better. Oh well.

XBOX 360
Such a great idea for my son Cody. This is his 14th holiday season and he was super happy when he opened his gift, he will probably keep it forever BIG THANKS!

ATV Offroad Fury Blazin Trails - Sony PSP

Misunderstood game
At first i found this game to be really tough and frustrating but i kept on playing and slowly kept on winning when i upgraded my ATV.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The secret to this game is to release gas pedal when youre in the air and press it again when you're about to hit the ground. Landing is also everything so make sure you land on a downhill and not on a uphill which will just slow you down.

Make sure you upgrade your bumpers coz when a collision happens youre most likely the one who survives and not the other guy.

also make sure you use the right tires so check it before the game starts. If it has 5/5 stars or 4/5 stars it means its compatible with the ground.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

People who rated this game below 4 stars were just impatient and i dont blame them, i put down my spiderman2 game after 1 level coz i find it difficult and boring.

This is still a challenging game for me, i always have to...

What are these people talking about?
This game is a long awaited relief to the otherwise boring lineup for the PSP. It feels just as good as it's previous versions but It's handheld! Good buy. Don't read the other reviews, I almost passed on this game due to those false reviews, don't be as foolish.

Not a bad buy for the PSP
I recently rented this game and I am pretty happy with it. It is a little challenging, but once you get the hang of it its really fun. The graphics are very nice, the sound isnt bad, but the gameplay is a little tough(its not a major problem). The replayability is also pretty good(I recommend that you dont play it too long the first day you get it;it might get boring). Overall, I enjoyed this game and im probably going to buy it.

Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Value Bundle (Amazon exclusive Bonus Value)

A very nice bundle for a very nice price
I bought a couple 360 bundles this year. Why? Well, the Halo4 bundle was something I really couldnt pass up and have it set up in a Vanguard portable rig, a couple were gifts, but this one here is the console I set up next to my PS3 in my living room. The 250 gig drive is big enough to contain my collection of games with plenty of room to spare. The inclusion of Forza 4 and the Skyrim download was pretty sweet, the extra 4 months of Live Gold was cool (3 for the promotion plus 1 already in the box), the controller is the standard issue of course as is the carppy headset, lol (replace the headset....they are flimsy and wont last long). My only gripe is probably the same as everybody elses....no HDMI cable included. That seems like a poor oversight for a relatively cheap and fairly essential piece (at least if you plan to get the most out of your xbox...without it, you'll be running at like 480p). You also get a handful of Arcade game codes (which are basically glorified demos)...

Xbox 250 GB bundle
Great! it arrived a day earlier than stated on the tracking page. intead of the four months it says we are supposed to get of live mine got five. this was a great deal!

Extras Handled very poorly
So these Holiday Bundles are available at best buy, walmart, and probably most stores that sell xbox's.
I chose to buy from Amazon, because of the "extras", and of course 2 days later no signs of any extras.
Now from reading other reviews and comments, I see I am not the only one....
When you open the amazon box, there should be 5 codes for download of arcade games, 1 code for 3 months of xbox live, go to your account and a $10 video credit should be there
Where is the difficulty in that??
Now I am a big fan of amazon, but in the case of another "bundle" with extras, i'll forgo the extras and just buy it locally.
Very poorly handled Amazon
Xbox itself 5 stars
Skyrim 5 Stars
Forza not interested
Rating for Amazon on this one 2 stars

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D

Dark Side of the Moon
About a year ago, I was talking to my girlfriend when she was in the middle of playing 2011's excellent "Ocarina of Time 3D" about the possibility of "Majora's Mask" getting the same treatment. We both agreed that it was next to impossible. It was a smaller Zelda game, that from my understanding didn't sell particularly well, and its dark, sinister setting seems to not jive with the tone modern incarnations have. And yet, here we are, four years later, give or take a few months, holding what may very well be the definitive version of the game in our hands. Was it worth the wait?

Most definitely. "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D" is a loving restoration of the dark horse favorite in Nintendo's flagship adventure franchise. Every detail is lavishly restored with eye-popping visuals that run at a crisp framerate. New mechanics are added to make the game more accessible, while still retaining the core difficulty fans expect. And it's a large,...

Majora's Mask 3D is an actual remake, not just an enhanced port.
Majora's Mask 3D is actually a proper remake of the original game. By this I mean that the game has received several enhancements and changes, and is very clearly an extremely different experience even as early as where I am so far (just finished the first dungeon, exploring more in Clock Town now) while still remaining almost entirely faithful to the gameplay and style of the N64 version.

Below is a list of the more significant changes I've seen so far:

* The Bomber Notebook has been completely revamped. It still has all of its old functions, but now also acts as a WRPG-style "Quest Tracker" that monitors your progress on all side quests in the game (including the ones outside of Clock Town) and keeps important info handy.

* The time is now properly displayed to the minute, complete with marked AM/PM separations, rather than the previous sundial form.

* Tatl can be used in conjunction with the Bomber Notebook to set alarms at specific times...

72 hours of fun
Waited for so long for this game...

It's amazing Nintendo has managed to keep this timeless classic updated for this new incarnation.

It's mostly the loop of discovering new side-quests, working out all their solutions, collecting all those rewards
and make use of the useful albeit bizarre mask powers that make this game genuinely different.

The game has a surreal tone that drags you in, and with it's non-linear structure, the game doesn't feel like
a Zelda game at times.

Many of the frustrating elements from the original game are gone and that helps make the game more attractive.

Awesome game.

Nintendo 3DS XL Blue/Black Limited Edition with Mario Party: Island Tour Game

Not bad nintendo
Very great system in my opinion, the bundle itself comes with the 3ds xl, charger, manuals, AR player cards, and also includes a physical copy of mario party island tour! This is really a bang for your buck if you're interested in buying this system!

Bought it as a gift for my girlfriend.
I bought this as a birthday present for my girlfriend. I got a new one so it didn't appear beat up or anything which is good news. Does, in fact, come with Mario Party.

Pros
1. The 3DS XL is gorgeous. The blue and black design looks crisp and clean. My girlfriend literally squealed when she opened it.
2. All parts work. Sound, WiFi, 3D slider, buttons, etc all function.
3. Mario Party is a fun game. A good basic bundle game.
4. Good price. There are new 3DS models that cost as much as this but this comes with a free game. Buying a plain black and blue and the game separate would've cost more money.
5. The girlfriend loves it. Score points for me!

Cons
1. It's just a black and blue 3DS XL with a bundled game. No special identifying marks or anything. If you don't like Mario Party then you can just get a blue and black normal one and it's the same thing.

Overall, this was a good purchase. Mario Party is fun and the 3DS XL...

Awesome Birthday Gift!!!
The DS was for my son's 6th birthday and he LOVES IT!!! The Mario game that is included is a lot of fun for him and dear old dad. We have had a lot of fun and I look forward to the next occasion to get a new game for him to try out.

LittleBigPlanet - PlayStation Vita

Better than LBP and LBP2!
I picked this game up at gamestop 2 days ago, and have been playing it for a reasonable amount of time. I can definitely say that this game is one of the best, if not the best vita game so far. I would go even as far as to say that this game is better than both the previous LBPs on PS3. It introduces new mechanics like rear touch to guide sackboy or to push blocks out, and front touch to push objects in, move objects, etc. Graphics are excellent, but the colors don't "pop" out at you. Controls feel excellent except for the responsiveness on the touch screen. It isn't very responsive to touch so when your on a fast moving level and you need to move an object, sometimes it doesn't register your input and your sackboy is dead. The menus are slick and can all be navigated with touch. This game just feels like a improved version of LBP2, with all the create tools that were in there plus, memorizer, which will allow you to save inside a level. This alone is an amazing new addition, allowing...

The Best Vita game to own
I was thrilled when LBP Vita launched early & I was able to jump into the latest Sackfolk adventure .... today I escaped the "Clutches of Evil" (final boss battle) & watched the credits roll ... it was a fantastic gaming experience. the levels are crisp & defined, the right amount of fun & silliness mixed perfectly with challenging platforming tasks. the cut scenes are gorgeous, with our usual dose of hilarity thrown in for good measure. I've watched 45 of the possible 67 tutorials & it looks to be a fantastic create interface - imagine being able to instantly implement any real life object via the Vita camera? the possibilities are endless. each of the 5 arcade levels have 10 levels within them - providing you an additional 50 levels of pick up & play fun & frolic. in my opinion, this is the best Vita game to date & not to be missed. the online features go live later today - you will require a system update 1.81 ... this will add MP & the community levels - cheers ! have fun out...

The Definitive LittleBigPlanet Game
This past week I've taken a critical look at LittleBigPlanet Vita; I have played through the Story Mode as well as spent a chunk of time in Create Mode.

First I'll start with the new Story Mode. While it may seem a bit shorter than previous games, it is packed full of exciting gameplay, a great story, whimsical characters that will not leave you disappointed. Some may be worried that the Vita's touch capabilities will leave us with a gimmicky game, and while they did implement both front and rear touch throughout the levels to showcase the new capabilities, I never felt as if I was being beat over the head with it. In addition to the normal levels and challenge levels we've become familiar with in past games, you also gain access to an Arcade section with full fledged mini-games. Each of these minigames have a handful of levels that you progress through with some very fun gameplay (my favorite is Tapling). I would go deeper into the awesomeness that is the story of LBPV,...

Kirby & The Rainbow Curse

Breaking The Mold
I always feel bad for reviewing Kirby games. Not because they're not fun to play, or because I don't like them. Quite the opposite, actually. As a whole, I love the franchise for all of its various entries and incarnations, almost to a fault. That is to say, there isn't a single entry in the series that I dislike, and so, I feel bad, because anybody reading a review will immediately see my subjective bias towards the cute, cuddly and inventive worlds that various developers always seem to cook up. This time, HAL Laboratory picks the reins back up and takes the series back to the gameplay of 2005's "Canvas Curse," but also brings two new things to the table: claymation and GamePad-snapping difficulty.

You read that last part right. "Kirby & The Rainbow Curse," the pink puff's first go at a Wii U title, steers the series in a completely unexpected direction. Historically, the Kirby games have been satisfying little romps that are none too difficult to...

A New Type Of Platformer
I spent the last couple of hours playing this game at the dorm room of my college friend and let me say that though I do not own a wii u myself, this is one of the games that make buying the console worth it. Here is my review of Kirby and the Rainbow Curse and I will aim to be as unbiased as possible in retelling my experience of this game.
_________

STORY: The plot is basically bare bones here but that is what you can really expect out of Nintendo games but they are basically the king of making absurd simple stories into incredibly fun games so no complaints here. Basically the story starts of with Kirby goofing off and a hole in the sky appears and rids dreamland of all its color creating a black and white world and everyone else is frozen in place. It is up to Kirby to bring color into dream land again and beat the evil force who had taken away all the color. Basically the plot sets into motion how the rest of the game plays out so let's get into the game...

Personally I think it's tons of fun once you get use to it
First and foremost it's important to note that this game requires the stylus to play. About 95% of the negative reviews this game receives is because people purchase this game without knowing that (despite the fact that it's advertised everywhere) and they get upset when they realize it does not use traditional controls. If the idea of using the stylus to draw lines on the game pad to control Kirby does not appeal to you then turn away now.

Personally I think it's tons of fun once you get use to it. For completionist like myself the game will offer plenty of playtime as there is lots to collect and lots of challenges to complete. Collect stars and treasure chest in each level to unlock trophies, music and secret challenge levels which are really fun and addicting to play and add a new set of difficulty to the game. For people who don't care about collecting stuff and earning gold medals and would rather just get to the credits the game can be finished fairly quickly and...

PlayStation 3 Dualshock 3 Wireless Controller (Black)

Be wary of fakes!!
I purchased this from the seller GP&Associates. It is not an official Sony controller. It looks almost identical to the real thing, but the product sticker on the back is not the correct label, and the model number is not correct either. I've taken apart both this controller and a genuine Dualshock 3 controller, and the innards are vastly different as well. I've been severely dissapointed, so please be careful which company you purchase this controller from. The model number should be CECHZC2U, whereas this one is CECHZC2H

Tested on Playstation 1, 2, and 3 games - it works GREAT on all of them!
Well folks, now that the dust has settled from the Sony vs. Immersion lawsuit, Playstation 3 owners are finally able to feel the vibe again!

I purchased this controller today and I knew the only way to properly road-test it was on the game that made the Dualshock famous, Metal Gear Solid. After booting up the game, I walked down the hallway and got spotted by a guard. As he shouted, "WHO'S THAT?" the controller jumped in my hand - and I knew this was a smart purchase. As the guards shot at me, I felt the feedback of the bullets, just as I had 10 years ago on my Sony Playstation.

I picked out another old school Playstation game, Tenchu: Stealth Assassins. From Ayame's blades to Rikimaru's sword, each sword swipe and jump had excellent feedback.

Okay, so my Playstation games worked out. But what about my...

Get ready to rumble, even with PS 2 games!
I was already extremely happy with the Sixaxis controller, but I could not resist getting the DualShock 3. Not only do you get the rumble, but also, it feels much better in your hands, even for those games that do not use this feature. The rumble function is fun, but on top of that, it helps with gameplay, because "feeling" what is happening provides a lot more feedback than just watching how your character or car reacts to the environment.

The biggest surprise of all was that the rumble works with PS 2 games in the PS 3 system. I am currently playing through "God of War", a game which had the rumble capability in PS 2. I thought that it was unlikely that I was going to get this feature with this new controller in the PS 3, but it worked perfectly.

I know that having to buy a new controller and basically discard the one that came with the system is not the ideal situation, but I have to say this product is really worth shedding the extra bucks.

Pokemon HeartGold Version

Don't let the fact that this game is a remake fool you.
I'm going to start right out with it. BUY THIS GAME! This game is amazing on many fronts which is why it deserves a buy if you have a DS (maybe even buy a DS to play this game).

Gameplay: 10/10

The gameplay is as fresh as ever. The formula that GameFreak put down so many years ago still works. If you have already played any of the previous Pokemon games, there are basically no changes, other than the fact of the addition of a few minigames and a pokemon can walk behind you. For newcomers, here's how the Pokemon formula works: You start an adventure with a starter pokemon, and then train to become the best pokemon trainer in the world. You do this by defeating other trainers who roam the land while also catching some extra pokemon of your own. The formula is straight up addictive and the plot is also well done.

Graphics: 8/10

It's pokemon on the DS. The game uses the same graphics engine as Diamond, Pearl and Platinum and yes, the graphics...

An amazing updated version of a beloved classic
I, like many other players of this game, played the original Gold vesion for the Game Boy Color, and I loved it. I remember nights hiding under my covers with the game holding a booklight to see (or, when it came out, the GBA SP with the lighted screen)

When I heard about this remake, I was very excited, especially after seeing some of the new features upcoming. I had already played Platinum, so the DS graphics were nothing new to me.

Very excitedly, I got myself this game yesterday (Release day) and hurried home to play it. I was quite surprised to find that, not only was it more up-to-date than Gold, but in some ways, it was even more up-to-date than Platinum, especially through the utilization of the touch screen.

WHAT I LIKE:
*Return to Johto- Very simply, you retuern to the setting of Gold and play the game again with new features (Hence the term remake)
*Partner Pokemon- In HG, you have the first Pokemon in your party following you at...

Pokewalker is a pretty cool accessory
There are plenty of reviews of the game here and not so many about the pokewalker itself.

The pokewalker is basically a pokemon mini-game but pretty high tech. It represents the core of the DS gameplay even in its limited way but enough so to be fun.

When you transfer a pokemon into the walker, the actual picture of the pokemon you transferred shows up on the little screen. Given that you can migrate pokemon across all the games one way or another, I suspect it supports every pokemon in any game.

By walking around (or by holding it in your hand and pretending to walk ;->) you gain 'watts', 1 for every 20 steps. You then spend the watts on 2 mini-games. Pokeradar allows you to find and battle / capture a wild pokemon on the walker itself. Dowsing gives you a chance to find items. Additionally, there are different 'paths' that you can select to walk down and more paths open up as you generate more watts. I'll also note that I happened to catch a pokemon...

Xbox 360 250GB Holiday Value Bundle with Kinect

Fun for the whole family. - On a budget.
You are getting: a $28 (Kinect Adventure), $20 (Kinect Carnival), $25 (3 Months of Live) and $399.99 (Xbox 360 250gig w/ Kinect) when the xbox is priced by it's self at $299.99 and the kinect is $130.99 this is a great deal for someone with a family or kids.

X-Box w/ Kinect
I received the package in RECORD time, which surprised the *$%# out of me. It got to me (and I live in Alaska) in 4 days from the time I ordered it to the day my wife sent me the text saying it was on our doorstep. The contents were well packaged and nothing was scratched or tampered with. It was really easy to setup, if I can set it up then I guarentee that anyone else can. The kinect sits on top of my entertainment center next to my dvd player, and it works great. Even my shortie 3 year old son can play it (albeit he doesn't quite get the concept). All in all it is a great deal. The only thing I had a problem with was that in the bundle package, it's supposed to have two games and it only came with 1 hardcopy game. The second game has to be downloaded via wifi. I dont have wifi in my house, and I am probably the only one in the U.S. who doesn't. But other than that, no complaints.

Great Package with great value
Well, I already have an xbox 360 for myself. This purchase was for my niece, who has gone on forever about getting a kinect for her room. So, I bought her this one and so far, she's loving every minute of it. Kinect Adventures, she says, is fun and a good party game and she loves playing the carnival game. I couldn't get into that one myself but she seems to enjoy it tons.
Also, she's definitely loving all the kinect apps on the marketplace and now she wants dance central 2.
Anyway, this package seems to be a wonderful package for all ages, especially for the kids, and she just can't get enough of it.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

Short Lived Pocket Full of Fun
I bought the Vita the month that it came out and it has spent the majority of the time since then in a sock drawer... until now! The full console on-the-go experience has finally come to fruition.

Here's the elevator pitch: what if 20 Playstation icons (ok, like 14 + 6 meh-cons) could duke it out in 4 x 4 free for alls? No, the idea is not novel my dear Smash Bros. fans, however the formula had yet to have been duplicated properly on non-Nintendo hardware. Playstation All-Stars fills the niche nicely. Let's get to brass tacks:

Pros:
- Stages are phenomenally vibrant and alive. Each stage is a mash-up of two franchises, and as unlikely as it seems, it works! The transition between one version of a stage to the next is marked but not jarring. I enjoyed catching cameos of my favorite supporting stars (President Qwark!). The flash and flair is not done at the expense of graphics or performance. Textures and animation are exquisite through out.
-...

Amazing
In case your wondering whether or not to get it I would say GET IT the game is very entertaining and you can play for hours because of the story mode and multiplayer this is best vita title yet and makes me want to play my vita again!!!

PROS:
Awesome online
20 cool characters to play with
Fun specials and power ups
You can also get different costumes
Many different levels

Cons
In multiplayer it is easy to get lost with everything going on
Sometimes the online disconnects and is slow

Note: To play on line you have to look on the back little paper that comes with the game and follow the instructions

It's surprising how much I enjoyed this game
When bb had the ps3 version on sale I figured why not. I knew it included a free vita download and that my kids would probably enjoy it. I never really got into smash brothers. I had fun the couple times I had played it but wasn't something I'd play on a regular basis. I really viewed this as a library builder/ game the kids would enjoy so my expectations for Sony smash didn't really exist. After downloading my copy I figured why not let's see how it is. I was in for one surprise. I was unable to put my vita down I was having so much fun. I grabbed kratos and rolled on. The story and mechanics are very simple and it progresses you into more difficult matches. It's easy enough for a casual gamer or child to enter and have a chance yet not so simplistic to become boring to the seasoned player. The game play is fluid and incredibly entertaining and the overall appearance looks beautiful on the vita. If you have any interest in fighting games I'd highly suggest this. Also if you own a...

Pokemon Black Version Bundle - Nintendo DS

It's a Steal!
The Poke'mon Black Version Bundle (and I'm sure the White Version Bundle as well) is really a steal! Whether you have never owned a DS before or are just ready to upgrade to a DSi from another version it'd be really hard to beat this price considering everything you get. I have priced new DSis at many places and they alone still run between $140-$160. With this bundle not only do you get a unique-looking new system but the newest Poke'mon game that runs about $32 - $35 by itself. The carrying case is great for not only providing some protection for your DSi but also transporting up to six games and two extra stylus so you'll never be bored! I have owned this for about a week and so far I have had no problems at all.

I believe a DSi is great fun and provides wholesome entertainment even without games inserted.

The Poke'mon series of games are engaging enough to keep you interested but easy enough to play that it provides entertainment for a wide range of...

I don't regret buying this.
The bundle was a lot more then I expected; I was expecting the game cartrage, DSi system and a small game carry case. The case you get is big enough to hold 12 games, 2 stylus and you DSi.

The DSi itself is quite beautiful, the contrast from the matte finish background and the slightly glossy decal is excellent, and the decal itself is well placed and doesn't look cheap.

I have only played the game for a few hours but so far the story seems far more engaging then the other Pokemon games.

Nice
I just "upgraded" from the DS Lite. I was hesitant on the DSi because it did not seem worth it and I did not like the colors that were out.
When I saw this bundle I jumped on it. I like the color and the Mario games were ok not what I expected tho. And if I did buy them I would have not been happy, but they were free so no complaints.
The color and texture was not what I expected it was better. I had the Onyx DS Lite and the Crimson/onyx one and preferred the crimson one because the bottom part was like a matte texture and felt more comfortable while playing games. One thing I liked about the DSi was they were all matte texture but I was afraid Metallic Blue would have a metallic texture but it doesnt its matte like the others. It is kinda shiny look to the color tho.
I like the bigger screen but have to get used to the button placement.
Camera I have not played with too much yet but it seems fun and you can mess around with the pictures and you can upload your...

Halo Wars - Xbox 360 (Platinum Hits)

Great Game
I still think its not fair that the average halo player hates this game. I have all sorts of friends that claim "it isn't even a halo" but that is all crap. This game, although not a FPS, is a great game, (its an RTS). If you have played any of the other games made by ensemble studios, like Age Of Empires or Age Of Mythology, then you will really like this game. The campaign is very fun, and the cut scenes are also entertaining. PLaying co op with your friends is great, and skirmishes are also available on xbox live. The controls for this game are very easy to get used to. For a console RTS I think that Halo Wars is a huge success. It really is a shame that this is the last game Ensemble Studios was able to make. Overall this is a great game, and I would reccomend it to anyone who likes rts. I will admit that for an RTS it is a little dumbed down (you can only build turrets and buildings at base areas, not anywhere on the map like in AOE or AOM), but it is still a lot of fun...

A game that seems to get better and better
So that normal campaign mode is great, yet the real excitement lies within the online mode. The 3v3 battles are intense and the 6 different main characters bring in all sorts of variety. If you like RTS games, this is the best for the xbox out there. I only hope that they come out with a Halo 2 at some point to keep the dream alive.

Great RTS!
It's really a shame that this game came out more than two years ago and i didn't get it then. Not that many people are online anymore, and if they are they are about a million time better than me. I enjoy it, and if you are the kind of gamer who likes playing the campaign, or someone who has friends that can play it against you, i highly recommend it, especially when you look at the price!

DriveClub (PlayStation 4)

A Gorgeous and Symphonic Meditation
I only play single player, in car games. Sometimes multi-player, but my heart is with single player.

So. As such, this game delivers in a number of Spades.

It is beautiful, you can control weather and time, and from the get-go you have access to a crap-load of tracks.

They allowed a type of openness that lets you use the same car to explore numerous environments, or, in one environment to explore numerous cars. And at the same time explore that same environment at different times of day and with different weather.

This sort of flexibility is part of why this game is so lovely.

You say, I want to drive *this* car in *this* environment, with *this* weather at *this* time of day.

And this thing delivers in a way that Gran Turismo, Forza, and Horizon, do not. Horizon 2 meets that to a similar degree-- only it's not nearly as pretty or realistic, it does not sound as good, and it has different physics.

If you...

You'll Love It
I got DriveClub on 12/6 so my experience with it has been a lot different than those who played it at launch. I created a club right of the bat and have had online races and completed challenges over the network without issues. I've read that it still isn't working perfectly for all players, but the problems are much, much less prevalent.

The driving experience itself is right up my alley. I'm a player who has never been able to get really into simulation racers, as I always want to have a little more fun than real-life physics allows. DriveClub provides that realism aspect in the visual fidelity and the environmental effects, but the handling itself is still arcadey enough to have the fun factor.

The visuals in this game are truly something we've never seen before. The sound and sights as you're racing downhill are enough to make your heart race- the sense of speed here is unmatched. Weather was just added to the game (http://a.pomf.se/dwgknv.gif) and it's...

DriveClub is beautiful, but lacks in other areas.
So, let's get this out of the way first, the server issues DriveClub was experiencing at launch are finally fixed. The game works now, although some of the features that were promised before launch (e.g. PS Plus version, DriveClub Live, DriveClub app, etc.) are still not there yet.

As a big fan of Gran Tourismo and the Forza Motorsport series (especially Forza Horizon) I can say that DriveClub is a very good game, but will not satisfy people used to the more simulation-oriented handling of the games I just mentioned. I am used to a car handling in a more or less realistic way on Forza 5 and Gran Tourismo and although DriveClub is not entirely unrealistic (like Need for Speed is), it is just unrealistic enough to be frustrating. You do certain maneuvers expecting the car to behave in a certain way, but the car in the game does something entirely different. This is especially apparent when it comes to drifting, which is decidedly unrealistic in this game (presumably the...

Pixel Junk Monsters Deluxe - Sony PSP

Defend your people and your hut...or else!
Pixel Junk Monsters is a fun defense/stragety game.

You are Tikiman. One day, his town has become overridden with various, dangerous monters. You must keep them from reaching the hut and killing his flock. If all survive at the end of the level, then you get a rainbow. You must get 7 rainbows to move to the left side of the map, where new worlds await you.

Each level is different. It will describe each level and what you should do.

Towers cost money to build. You need to think carefully about where to place each tower, so they will have the desired effect. Most monsters will leave behind coins and blue gems. Gems are needed to buy a new tower. But you must hurry to collect the coins and gems left behind. They WILL disappear on you if you're not fast enough. Sometimes you can find coins and gems through the trees.

The most difficult part of the game is figuring out which towers will kill which enemies. Each enemy is different and not all...

Completely addictive
I picked up a copy of this game having never played the other versions before. I had been browsing the PSP catalogue trying to find a few cheap titles and came across this one which seems to have great reviews across the board. While I can't say that I've played very many tower defense type titles in the past (I generally play RPG/SRPG and Simulation games) I can say that without a doubt this game is now a top favorite of mine.

The objective is simple. Keep the monsters from making it across the field to your hut using strategically placed defense towers. All towers cost a portion of gold, which you collect by killing monsters. Some more powerful towers are unavailable until you unlock them with gems, which also come from killing monsters. There are obviously some more mechanics at play which are also pretty straight forward. What makes it so addictive is trying to get a perfect score on every level- because in most cases you can breeze through pretty easily getting an...

Super value; one of the best games for the PSP!!!
If you played PJM on PS3, this is a perfect translation to the PSP platform. For a mere $10, you get 30+ levels along with new towers! This game is also available for download from Playstation Store as well for the same price of $10. Highly recommended!!!
